What is the School Bucks Program?

The School Bucks Program is an easy way for school families, friends, parishioners, and community members to help support our school. By participating, St. Thomas the Apostle School can earn points toward extra funding to help improve student programs, supplies, activities, and more! Thank you for your support!

How Does the School Bucks Program Work?

Shop! Save! Support! After shopping or dining at Colonie Center, save your receipts and help St. Thomas the Apostle School earn points.

You can submit your receipts in any of the following ways:

• Bring them directly to the Colonie Center Management Office (located past the restrooms near Sephora) and request that the points be credited to St. Thomas the Apostle School.

• Drop them off at the Parish Office or School Office and let us know they are for the Colonie Center School Bucks Program.

• Place them in the collection basket at Mass.

RULES

• 2 points per $1 spent

• A minimum of 8,000 shopping points is required to qualify to win.

• The School Bucks program is based on actual dollars spent through personal, in-store visits by family members, friends, and supporters of each participating school. This program is not a receipt drive.

• Bills from non in-store purchases will not be accepted (cell phone bills, cable bills, credit card bills, etc.).

• Store employees may not be used to collect receipts for participating schools.

• All receipts must be redeemed within 60 days of the purchase date.

• Receipts will be collected January 1, 2026 – January 15, 2027.

• Receipts dated prior to January 1, 2026 will not be accepted.

• Receipts for returned merchandise will not be accepted.

Rack 'Em Up: Bonus Points

Each month, there will be fun opportunities for bonus points, like taking holiday photos with Santa at Colonie Center or making a purchase from a specified retail partner. We’ll keep you in the loop with a monthly email and our website will also have up-to-date information.
