Seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and student-centered 4th Grade Teacher. The ideal candidate will foster a love of learning while supporting students' academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth. Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging instruction in core subject areas, including English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
Develop lesson plans aligned with state standards and school curriculum.
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Assess student progress and provide timely feedback.
Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance, and student performance.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
Foster a classroom culture that promotes respect, responsibility, and academic growth.
Collaborate with faculty and staff to support school initiatives and student success.
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.
Utilize educational technology to enhance instruction and student engagement.
Support the social, emotional, and character development of students through positive classroom practices.
Qualifications
All teachers in the schools of the Diocese of Albany must have at least a bachelor's degree to qualify for full or part-time classroom responsibility for grades K-12. All teachers should have New York State Certification or be in the process of obtaining certification.
Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Experience teaching elementary-aged students preferred.
Ability to create engaging, hands-on learning experiences that support student growth and achievement.

We are seeking a nurturing, dependable, and energetic individual to join our Early Childhood program as a classroom aide. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children, supports a positive learning environment, and works collaboratively with classroom teachers and staff.
Responsibilities:
Assist the classroom teacher with daily activities and routines
Support students during instructional time, play, meals, and transitions
Help maintain a safe, caring, and engaging classroom environment
Encourage positive behavior and social interactions among students

Supervise students in the classroom, playground, and other school settings
Assist with cleaning and maintaining classroom spaces as needed

Qualifications:

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Lunchroom Attendant to create a safe, welcoming, and organized environment during meal times. In this vital role, you will supervise students, ensure adherence to school policies, and promote positive behavior while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards. Duties
Supervise students during lunch periods, ensuring they follow school rules and maintain respectful behavior
Enforce school policies related to conduct, safety regulations, and classroom expectations in the lunchroom setting
Maintain cleanliness of the lunch area, including cleaning tables, disposing of trash, and ensuring a hygienic environment
Communicate effectively with students, staff, parents, and other stakeholders regarding student behavior or safety concerns
Follow evacuation procedures and safety regulations in case of emergencies or incidents requiring evacuation or first aid response
Qualifications
Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, teachers, and staff
Ability to manage conflicts calmly while applying conflict management strategies
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift light objects, and assist students as needed
Prior classroom experience or teaching background is advantageous but not mandatory
