Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
As a parent or guardian of a child enrolled at St. Thomas School, you are automatically a member of the PTO. The PTO is a volunteer organization whose primary purpose is to enhance the educational experiences of all students at STS.
The organization is run by a team of parents who meet monthly to plan events and programs for the school community. PTO members also help coordinate class community service projects and work closely with teachers to plan field trips and special activities that support students’ spiritual and educational growth.
A small annual dues amount is collected from each family, which helps fund many of our events and programs. Each class from Pre-K through Grade 8 has a PTO class representative who attends the monthly meetings and keeps their class families informed about important school happenings.
There isn’t a month that goes by when the PTO isn’t hard at work!
Get involved! Attend monthly meetings. Volunteer to help with an event or program. Your participation makes a real difference in your child’s experience at St. Thomas School. Reach out to a PTO board member or class representative anytime with questions or ideas. Most importantly, be an active member of our PTO and discover how rewarding it can be.
