Continuing the Vision Annual Campaign
As we celebrate over 65 years of enriching students both academically and spiritually, our world continues to change at an unbelievable rate, and with these changes the value of a St. Thomas education continues to increase. We ask in this very special year for your support of our Continuing the Vision Campaign.
As our Annual Campaign gets underway and as we continue to grow and plan for the future, we continue to sustain and develop new opportunities for our students. This year we have added enrichment for our students at all levels including Spanish language class starting in Preschool, and enhancements to our STEAM program. Your generous support helps us to make these programs a reality and allow us to further enhance the educational experience. Your donation also helps us ensure that our students are prepared for high school and beyond, and keeps tuition affordable for all our students. The goal for this year’s campaign is $40,000. Last year we raised over $35,000 through the kindness and generosity of our donors. Together let’s make this our best year!
Annual Gala
On Friday, October 18, 2024, the St. Thomas the Apostle School 3rd Annual Gala will be held at the Italian American Community Center in Albany, NY. This event provides an opportunity for parents, friends,alumni, parishioners of St. Thomas and community to come together for an evening of entertainment while raising money for our parish school. Your support and generosity, through this event, will enhance each child’s education and experience at St. Thomas the Apostle School.
This year, with your support, we hope to continue to grow scholarship opportunities and take on other projects at the school that will benefit all students and programs. Someof these projects are continued enhancements to our school technology, STEAM and Arts programs.
Race for Education
The Race for Education is one of the best days on our school calendar! Last year, together we raised almost $40,000 for our school. Please know the race provides much needed funds for our school to help support tuition assistance, the purchase of equipment and technology, and new programs. Our Race for Education has strengthened our students and our school. Our students together have raced many miles and our friends, families, neighbors, teachers, alumnus have always been very supportive of our Race for Education. Let’s show our children what we can accomplish together for their school!
By assisting with the Race for Education, you are ensuring that St. Thomas the Apostle School will continue for the next 67 years to offer a foundation for success for our students in their lives, in their community and well beyond the date of their graduation.

As a 2008 graduate, Maura (Desharnais) Corbett has committed to donate $20.08 to St. Thomas the Apostle School.

As the parents of two St. Thomas the Apostle School graduates from 2016 and 2018, Dave & Lenore Ciancio have committed to donate $20.16 and $20.18 to St. Thomas the Apostle School.
We are proud to continue to support the school. For us, the school was a family experience where we found lasting friendship. The principal, teachers and parents knew and supported our children. Our children, Aidan and Ryan, developed academically and spiritually because the St. Thomas environment teaches children how to learn and grow as a faith-based member of a community. We will always be grateful for the St. Thomas experience. In addition to donating to the annual gala and race for education, we are pleased to contribute to this special campaign to commemorate the graduation years from St. Thomas.
If our former students and their parents "give their grad year" like Maura (student alumni) or Dave & Lenore (parent alumni), we will raise thousands which will make a huge difference for St. Thomas School through the annual Continuing the Vision campaign.
As an added bonus, if over 100 unique student / parent alumni participate in this campaign, St. Thomas will randomly award two (2) $100 Amazon gift cards to two individuals who contributed.
