2015/2016 Welcome Message from Principal, Thomas Kane

There really is no other time of year like the beginning of school.  It is filled with anticipation and energy.  Our students, families, teachers, staff, and administration are going to direct that energy and fulfill the anticipation as we make this year our best yet!

Our first week of school was a very special time as we welcomed our new and returning families to the new school year.  On the first day of school, we celebrated the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, or Mary's birthday.  As parents, you know how much love it takes to raise a child.  Mary was no different in that regard.  Mary and Joseph had to do remarkable things throughout Jesus' childhood, some of them are recorded for us in the Gospels.  Mary and Joseph taught Jesus, kept him safe, and most importantly, did what they needed to do to help him accept the purpose his Heavenly Father had planned for him.

Mr. Kane visits Kdg 9/8/2015Together, that is what we are going to do for the next 10 months.  We are going to do what we need to in order for our children to grow closer to God.  That is our true mission.  With the Father's blessings, and the help of the Holy Spirit, we walk with Jesus each day in this ministry.  It's going to be a wonderful year!
