On Day 3 of the DC Trip, Students Visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

Ultan - Today we went to the Arlington National Cemetery. We saw the Tomb of the unknown soldiers which is guarded 24/7 by a specially selected squad - it is the highest honor military personal can receive.

Aidan - The Supreme Court was really beautiful. We saw the exact spot from a movie we watched this year "The Woman in Gold."

Kailee - The Korean War memorial was really amazing. There were 19 soldiers, 17 army men, 1 Air Force man, and 1 navy man.

Melannie  - The Library of Congress was pretty cool. We saw tons of books, some of them were from Thomas Jefferson' personal collection.

Jillian - The historical Alexandria ghost tours were so interesting to hear about.

Theresa - We went on the ghost tour and I enjoyed seeing the Washington's townhouse

Jenna - The Capitol tour was really cool. It was awesome to see the inside.

Michele - Meeting Congressman Tonko was really fun. It was really neat to meet him, he was a great guy.
