Opening Night of Lion King Jr. Huge Success!

The opeing night performance of Lion King Jr. was a huge success!  The cast of nearly forty 5th - 8th grade students captured the hearts of a sold-out crowd on opening night, April 8th.  Tom Kane, Director & School Principal, sums up the experience of the evening.

"Hakuna Matata! As you likely know, it means "no worries."  Diecting a play with 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders is not exactly a time when one says Hakuna Matata.  However, on our little Pride Rock we call St. Thomas, we are blessed to have so many people who are able to turn any project into a wonderful experience for the students.  From set building, prop design, costumes, make-up, food, tickets, lights, sound, volunteers, everyone plays a role in our great Circle of Life.  The students have been amazing for the past 10 weeks giving up lunch hours and after school time to practice and Be PreparedHakuna Matata! ~ Tom Kane, Director's Note
