Building Program Service Descriptions |
Cleaning
(early morning, afternoon, or late evening [about 3 hours per week])
Dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and emptying
garbage cans. Floor refinishing during holidays and in the summer.
We will train!
Painting
(times vary throughout the year; a lot of summer work)
This requires skilled painters to keep the school's painted surfaces
looking neat.
General Maintenance
(times vary throughout the year)
This requires skilled workers to help in the upkeep of the building.
Your own tools are necessary. Jobs may include light carpentry,
light plumbing, and fixing things that break. There will also be
times when the more advanced jobs require a team to complete. You
would be part of this team.
Landscape Cleanup
(times vary throughout the year: Spring, Summer, and Fall [a few
hours per week during peak seasons. Big weekends are just before
school starts, First Eucharist Weekend, and Graduation])
The service requires a self-starter who can drop by school and
police the grounds. Tasks may include cleaning the flower beds,
weeding, watering, spot seeding, refuse collection, edging, sweeping
sidewalks and blacktop, etc. Your own tools are preferred.
