May 11, 2007 - Accreditation |
Dear Families:
It gives me great pleasure to announce:
The Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on
Elementary Schools has affirmed that St. Thomas the Apostle School
has demonstrated to evaluators of the Commission on Elementary
Schools that it is effectively advancing the quality educational
experiences it offers its students, meets its responsibilities to
the public and the profession of education, and complies with
standards for accreditation that are established by the Commission
on Elementary Schools and approved by the membership of the
Association and is therefore granted accreditation for the period
April 27, 2007 to May 30, 2014
subject to the terms of accreditation maintenance set by the
Commission on Elementary Schools.
Thank YOU, one and all!
This goal was a very important one for our school. Many people
worked very hard during the self-study, the evaluation, and the
final report. This accreditation is a reflection and affirmation
that we are who we know ourselves to be: an outstanding Catholic
school.
Your support for our school over the years has been amazing! We are
truly a Christian community, sharing our gifts and talents with all
to help build the Kingdom of God. I am humbled by the generosity and
support of our families. Words cannot express how proud I am of you
and your children.
May God bless and keep you always,
Thomas J. Kane
