Stewardship Commitment Forms |
We need the forms returned ASAP. Only about half have come in. They
were due on February 29. This is your registration for 2008-2009.
It is important for us because:
- We need to budget according to what we have pledged.
- We need to have an accurate count of returning students.
-
We have to know the availability in each class for
prospective families.
The community tuition increased by only $100 again this year to
$3,990, or $390 per month. The Finance Committee did report Parish
Per-Pupil Expense Tuition as is required in a stewardship community.
Thank you to the families who have committed their gifts to help our
community meet the Parish Per-Pupil Expense and the Community
Tuition Level through time, talent, and treasure.
Parish Tuition Aide is available for all families. The parish does
not want families to stop participating in Catholic school education
because of finances, and it is willing to do whatever it takes to
ensure the highest quality Catholic school education for the
faithful.
If your form is not returned by Friday, March 7, we want to know
why. If you are still deciding on what you can sacrificially commit,
we understand, but let us know. If you have decided to not
participate in our Catholic school community next year we need to
know that as well. We need to plan for next year.

Holy Week and Easter Monday |
Easter comes early this year, and I remind you that St. Thomas
School is closed on Holy Thursday, March 20; Good Friday, March 21;
and Easter Monday, March 24. Most families are used to the closing
on Holy Thursday and Good Friday, but when Easter week is not the
normal school spring break, Catholic schools close for Easter
Monday. This year, many public school districts are closed as well.

What Happened to the Folders Yesterday? |
While in the middle of putting the take home folders together
yesterday, the RCS district called an early dismissal. So as we
tried to get the children ready, we ran out of time to get the
folders ready. Thanks for your understanding.
