Tuition and Stewardship Service |
Thank you for joining us this past Monday night for the Sate of the
School Presentation. As part of the evening, we presented our
projected budget for 2008-2009.
A separate sheet in this week's packet outlines the cost of
educating one child at St. Thomas and the sources of money that
helps to meet this expense. I ask you read this information sheet
carefully. It can be confusing because unlike other schools, we are
a stewardship school. We don't set tuition in the traditional way.
We ask families to make the choice to be stewards of the school by
giving freely of their time, talent, and treasure.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call Mr. Kane
at 439-5573. Please know that no family will be denied a St. Thomas
education because of finances. In this community, there is always a
way.

Commitment Forms |
Please return your tuition and service form by Friday,
February 29. I have included descriptions and time frames
for each stewardship service task. Please know that some require
specific skills and are limited in need. Please mark a few choices
to help us place you properly.
As you complete the forms, you will note that the suggested tuition
is $3,990. This suggested rate includes a $300 financial aid package
from the parish. For families not needing tuition aid, the per pupil
community cost is published.
Any difference between the suggested tuition rate and the financial
commitment of a family is made up through stewardship service. The
larger the difference, the more service we ask.
