New Website |
I invite you to visit our school's updated website:
www.stthomas-school.org. The new site is located at the same
address, but is designed to be more user-friendly and contain
updated information.
As with all websites, ours will be a constant work in progress.
Many thanks to Patrick Lalor, our website designer and programmer.
Moving forward, we hope to use the website as a means of regular
communication: a place where you can download forms, submit
information, and participate in all that St. Thomas has to offer.

Middle States Recognition Day |
Last May, when our school received the highest accreditation from
the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, Fr. Berberian
granted the students a "day off" to celebrate all the work they did
to make the accreditation possible.
We are using Friday, May 23, for this day. There will be no school
that day. This is the Friday before Memorial Day Weekend. Please
mark your calendar accordingly, and congratulations to our whole
school on a job well done.

Beauty and the Beast |
Our annual spring musical is Disney's Beauty and the Beast.
Our performances are Friday, May 9 and Saturday, May 10. Tickets
are available from the school and after masses on Sunday. Please do
not wait to buy your tickets as these shows are sure to sell out.
Premium seating is available.

Warm Weather Means... |
IT'S SHORTS TIME!!! Yes, all the children's favorite time of
year has returned. Starting tomorrow, children may wear shorts as
part of the academic and gym uniform. I ask parents to be prudent
as to when to allow their children to wear shorts. If a cooler day
comes, and they will over the next few weeks, and the high
temperature may only be in the 50s, students should not be sent to
school in shorts. In addition, I ask that shorts not be worn on days
when we have liturgy. Those dates are Monday, April 28; May 1,
Ascension Thursday; and Thursday, June 19, which is our Graduation
Liturgy.

May Crowning |
On Monday, May 5, our students in Grades 2 and 8 will participate
in the May Crowning. The procession begins at 7:00 and we invite
all families to attend.
